Being Frank

There is a missing person on the planet. At one time this person was the king of kings and looked upon as a divine ruler. This person was the epitome of what a man should be. In 2018 this person has gone missing and his presence is needed. It’s time to file a Missing Person Report for the Black man.
I’m sure many of you are scratching your heads saying I just saw an African American male a few minutes ago. That is one of the problems; you saw an African American man, not a Black man. The difference is one I have talked about over the years on TV and in this column. An African American man is what the name says, an American. A Black man is one who lives in America but knows who he is and where he is. A Black man understands that he is descended from prisoners of war and simply resides in the USA. A Black man knows that he is the most sought after, yet despised, person on the planet, and with this knowledge, acts accordingly.
Many ask, “Well doesn’t an African American man know this?” Yes, to a certain extent. The difference is the African American man can only see himself in this oppressive USA society. The goal of an African American man is to simply keep his head down and fly under the radar and die happily with a potbelly. The African American man focuses more on sports and how many women they can bed than taking care of business. This doesn’t mean that an African American man doesn’t have a good job and take care of a family, far from that. The African American man takes care of his family and lives as an American does, a white American. The African American man has lost all sense of self worth and replaced it with one borrowed from the Caucasian male who has hated and oppressed him for nearly 3000 years.
The African American man’s deficiencies have led to the point of no return for the African American people. The African American man’s weakness has led to the rule of the White man through his tool, the African American female. It has led to many young African American men being led by clothing designers unknowingly into alternative lifestyles. The African American man’s neutered posture had led to a rise in imitations of manhood by African American females who prey on other African American females looking for male images.
In order to re-calibrate the universe, the Black man has to stand again. The positive thing is that any African American man can become a Black man. The key isn’t in the physical, but in the mental realm. If an African American man can begin to think outside of the small box society has placed him in, he begins to evolve into his true nature, Black. This seems like a minor thing, but changing thought is one of the hardest tasks in the world. One key reason is that the person has to not only reevaluate everything around them, they have to look at themselves. This unabashed look in the mirror often leads to a mental retreat back into the safety of the known, which is African American mentality.
The Universe needs the Black Man to return. In order for this planet to survive, the Black Man needs to return and take control back from these borderline insane rulers of today. African American males, if you are tired of being downtrodden and grinning fools, then begin to think. African American males, if you are tired of watching sports and chasing white women, think. Think, African American man, about who you once were and how you can become greater. Think about Black, African American man, and become.
