Vandal bust windows outside Wisconsin Black Historical Society

An early morning vandal was captured on surveillance cameras smashing the glass to multiple doors and windows at the Wisconsin Black Historical Society Thursday, July 6, 2023. Milwaukee Common Council approves 2 percent sales tax to avoid a financial crisis

The tax passed with a 12-3 vote The Milwaukee Common Council voted 12-3 on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, to approve a higher sales tax. That was two more than the two-thirds majority needed to pass.
