Northcott Neighborhood House Seniors Club dedicates ‘The Wright Spot Healing Space’

On Friday, August 11, 2023, Northcott Neighborhood House Seniors Club dedicated “The Wright Spot Healing Space.” This space was created by Northcott Neighborhood House seniors and youth in the apple and cherry orchard located on the corner of North 5th and Wright Streets. The space was created with a grant program from the City of Milwaukee for creating neighborhood healing spaces introduced by Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs, who brought the concept many years ago to neighborhoods across the city. This partnership has not only included residents old and young from the neighborhood, but featured partners have been the City of Milwaukee, Groundworks, and Jan Carroll.
