On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, Voice of the Fatherless Child (VOTFC) held a press conference at 310 W. Wisconsin Ave., to call on community leaders and agencies to join together with their resources to save lives. WANT (We Are Networking Together) joined together with public officials, community leaders, W2 agencies, healthcare professionals, and more to work with the entire family.

Voice of the Fatherless Child will use entertainment as a form of intervention. The stage play “KIA Boyz (Karma In Action)” will be coming soon. After the play, the doors to the resources will open to help rebuild the family unit: Father, Mother and Child. Sponsors for the program include America Works, Home Depot, First Student Bus Company, and Community Advocates.
