Despite COVID-19, Voices of the Fatherless Child celebrates 11 years of giving

On Saturday, December 11, 2021, Voices of the Fatherless Child (VOTFC) sought to bring some holiday cheer to families who needed some extra help at Christmas time with the 11th year of the Single Parent Christmas Project. VOTFC Founder Monte Mabra (front row, center) along with AJ and Ms. Sheila of Home Depot and Gwen and Gail of America Works went into the homes of 10 families to supply them with the Single Parent Christmas package. This included a live tree, decorations, and gifts for the children and parents. This year’s sponsors are Home Depot, America Works, Hupy & Abraham S.C., Church Women United, Steinhafels and Community Advocates. This year extra help was especially needed as the pandemic continues. Families who already find it difficult to provide for the holidays have had an even more difficult time this year.
