Powder Room Finishing School hosts ‘Tea with the Queens’

On June 8, 2024, the Powder Room Finishing School hosted “Tea with the Queens.” Powder Room owner and reigning Ms. Midwest Galaxy 2024, Keerah Yeowang hosted the event at Bodies Event Venue Hall, 5235 N. 35th St. For the instructed afternoon tea, Yeowang invited about a dozen other reigning beauty queens to serve as her court and provide individualized assistance to the guests during the tea. Including the court and assistants, the event drew about four dozen.

The Powder Room’s vision and mission are to provide avenues for individual expression while teaching manners, charm, and character development. As part of the tea one student was recognized as the “Crown Jewel (below photo),” an honor that was bestowed upon Madina Muktar who was overcome with joy at the announcement. Powder Room Finishing School will be holding a 4 day-long Charm Camp from July 15-18, 2024.
