On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Mosorec International Foundation, Inc., presented its “2nd Annual Tanzania Day” at New Testament Christian Academy, 10201 W. Bradley Rd. This was a family friendly free event open to the public. The celebration was hosted by organizer Mosorec International Foundation, Inc. Founder and President Dr. Christine Mosore and featured food, fun, educational games, cultural presentations, music, a fashion show, entertainment and more. Students from different schools in the Greater Milwaukee area were invited and were in attendance and participated in the program as well as hearing about the mission and service projects by Mosorec International Global Scholars who participated in the Mosorec International Global Experience: Student Exchange Program-Trip to Tanzania in August 2024. The Tanzania Day event also celebrated the 8th anniversary of the City of Milwaukee and Tarime District, Tanzania Sister Cities that was established on November 7, 2016. As part of this recognition, congratulations and acknowledgments came from Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, US Congresswoman Gwen Moore, and many other elected officials and community leaders.
