Kappa Alpha Psi honors Dr. Martin Luther King Elementary School with “Room to Read”

On Friday, November 15, 2019, the North Central Province, The Marquette University chapter, the Delta and the Milwaukee (WI) Alumni chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi honored Dr. Martin Luther King Elementary School, 3275 N. 3rd St., as part of their “Room to Read” program .
Kappa Alpha Psi members and alumni read to the students. Later that day, Kappa Alpha Psi presented Principal Anesia Hayes (front row, center) with a check and more than 500 books donated by the Men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
Room to Read is a global initiative supporting literacy to primary school children, helping more than a million children every year reach their full potential and contribute to their communities and the world.
