C.H. Mason Health Clinic hosts ‘2nd MOMS Tour Community Baby Shower’

On Saturday, June 15, 2024, the C.H. Mason Health Clinic hosted, for the second year, the M.O.M.S. Tour Community Baby Shower, at the Daniels-Mardak Boys and Girls Club, 4834 N. 35th St. The M.O.M.S. Tour Community Baby Shower achieved incredible outcomes, profoundly impacting the lives of more than 315 mothers and their children. The event was able to educate and provide vital resources to these families, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to nurture their little ones. Beyond education, they made sure that no one left empty-handed or hungry, offering nourishing meals to all attendees. Attendees also received essential baby items such as diapers, bottles, and wipes, crucial for the daily care of infants, as well as gifted significant infant items, including playpens, car seats, and strollers, which are indispensable for the safety and comfort of the babies. This event was a partnership with President Biden’s community initiative team, The M.O.M.S. Tour, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Holy Redeemer Church of God In Christ (COGIC).
