On Friday, October 29, 2021, The Milwaukee Environmental Sciences Academy, 6600 West Melvina Street, hosted a “Scienceween.” Special guest the “Amazing Science Guy,” gave the students a chance to display their work. The event took place in the Science Exploratory Dome installed on the outside of the school’s property.
The goal of the Scienceween was to incorporate the amazing world of science and the fun of Halloween. It was an awesome fun learning experience and a chance to once again exhibit student scientific experiments and inventions. Featured experiments included engineering models, a balloon-powered car which exhibited the 3rd law of motion, and extraction of DNA from fruit.
