On Friday, May 27, 2022, The Milwaukee Environmental Sciences Academy (MESA), 6600 W. Melvina Street, celebrated the school’s First All-School STEM Science Fair. As part of this STEM event Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson visited MESA to help celebrate the occasion and also honor school principal Janet Colvin. Principal Colvin received a Proclamation from the Common Council for her work in improving the school since she took the position in August 2020.
