LISC presents the 20th Annual MANDI Awards and ‘Celebrates the Change Makers’

On Thursday, April 11, 2019, Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) presented the 20th Annual Milwaukee Awards for Neighborhood Development and Innovation (MANDI) at Potawatomi Hotel. The MANDI Awards recognize excellence in community development and “Celebrate the Change Makers.” The Mistress of Ceremonies was Today’s TMJ4 News Anchor Shannon Sims and the event was co-sponsored by U.S. Bank.
This year’s awards sponsors and recipients were as follows: the BMO Harris Bank Cornerstone Award went to The Running Rebels; the Brewers Community Foundation Public Space Award went to Multi-Sport Complex at Browning Elementary and Silver Spring Neighborhood Center; the State Farm Building Blocks Award went to Welford Sanders Historic Lofts and Enterprise Center; the Associated Bank Trailblazer Award went to MATC Promise; the Chase Economic Development Award went to Blue Skies Landscaping; the Northern Trust Navigator Award went to Susan Lloyd Zilber Neighborhood Initiative; and the Northwestern Mutual Collaboration Award went to Sherman Park Reclaiming Our Neighborhoods (R.O.N).
