Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter of AKA Sorority, Inc., hosts annual ‘Family Fun Day’

The Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., hosted its annual Family Fun Day event. Family Fun Day is their way of welcoming the back-to-school season and providing an afternoon of fun and support for families in the community.
The event was held on August 17, 2024, at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Elementary School, 3275 N. 3rd St. Free admission was available to all attendees, ensuring that families came together for an afternoon of laughter, games, and food. Free backpacks for one hundred and fifty were given away; and a variety of community resources were made available as well.
