Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. hosts first-ever scholarship awards

On Saturday, May 20, 2023, the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. (PBSF) Delta XI Sigma Chapter hosted its first-ever 2023 College Scholarship presentation at the Milwaukee Public Library Atkinson Branch, 1960 W. Atkinson Ave. The keynote speaker for this event was Milwaukee Chief of Police Dr. Jeffrey B. Norman. This year’s recipients are (lower left photo, from left) are Russell Morgan, Jr.; Izayah Briggs, Police Chief Dr. Jeffery Norman and Carmelo Knight. As part of the celebration the PBSF awarded the Milwaukee Times Weekly Newspaper a certificate of appreciation for their help in promoting this first-ever scholarship (lower right photo).
