
It’s official, city of Milwaukee native Jeffrey B. Norman was sworn in as Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department. The public ceremony took place on Monday, November 15, 2021, in the Common Council Chambers at Milwaukee’s City Hall. Chief Norman was sworn in by the Fire and Police Commission executive director, Leon W. Todd. Mayor Tom Barrett spoke along with Common Council President Cavalier Johnson and other dignitaries from the community, including Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas. Also on hand was Chief Norman’s wife and children. Chief Norman is the 22nd Chief of Police for the City of Milwaukee. “Congratulations Chief Jeffrey B. Norman on your swearing in as New Chief of Police!”
