On Saturday, August 28, 2021, the Milwaukee Urban League (MUL) and its generous partners Great Lakes Coca-Cola, Target, Spectrum, Nosotros Hair Studio, Pretty Girls Are Educated, Sharp Literacy, Walgreen’s and America’s Black Holocaust Museum joined together to prepare students and their families for a fun and successful start to the 2021-22 school year. MUL’s “Family Back-to-School Bash” took place behind the MUL office building, 435 West North Ave.
“Education is the core of the mission of Milwaukee Urban League,” said MUL President and CEO Dr. Eve M. Hall. “We are excited to host this back-to-school event for students and families and we look forward to aiding them as they prepare to start a new school year.” The event offered school supplies, various activities for students, education and job placement services for adults and COVID-19 vaccinations for adults and children 12 and older.
