On Saturday, August 27, 2016, Hayat Pharmacy hosted Dr. Carter’s Back-to-School Drive at COA Goldin Center, 2320 W. Burleigh Street. During the celebration, Dr. Lester L. Carter, Jr., helped give out snacks and school supplies for kids in grades K5-12th. As part of the celebration Dr. Carter received awards from city hall, the Common Council and the Milwaukee Urban League. Pictured at the event are (front row center from left) 7th District Alderman Khalif Rainey; Dr. Lester L. Carter, Jr.; Milwaukee Urban League president and CEO Ralph Hollmon, and many of the students and parents who attended the event.
