On Saturday October 28, 2023, former Green Packer and Hall of Fammer, LeRoy Butler, held a Mental Health Summit at the Baird Center located in downtown Milwaukee. The summit was well attended by guest speakers from the community including Police Chief Jeffrey Norman, Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball, and so many more who spoke on how we as a community embrace mental health. The summit was about bringing together resources from across the state in a partnership effort to address health issues of our youth. Some of the things that the guest speakers touched on were how family members recognize when a love one is suffering from mental illness, and just not being afraid to ask for help.
