Black Woman Heal Day-Milwaukee County kicks off the month of April as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month. This event took place Monday, April 1, 2019 at Aurora Sinai Medical Center, 960 N. 12th Street, Rapkin Auditorium, Building A, Milwaukee, WI at 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Black Woman Heal Day is an international day of healing for Black women and girl survivors of sexual assault. On April 1, 2017, Milwaukee County joined the International Black Woman Heal Day through the coordinated efforts of Dr. Alice L. Belcher to join and become a part of the Black Woman Heal Day International and by mayoral proclamation, the City of Milwaukee recognized and joined Dr. Alice Belcher and Christian Woman Perspective Ministries on April 1, 2017 in its Annual Black Woman Heal Day in Milwaukee County.
