On December 21, 2018, Ms. Nettie Walton celebrated her 100th birthday. Ms. Walton was born on December 23, 1918, the same year that the U.S. Congress established time zones and approved daylight saving time. A party was held at the the Serafino Square Apartments Clubhouse, 9993 West North Ave. by her granddaughters Viva Crape and Shawn Ahrens.
