Salvation Army and Brewers’ Wives helps local kids beat the heat

On Monday, July 25, 2016 the Salvation
Army Milwaukee’s Feed the
Kids Summer Meals program and
the Brewers’ Wives charity foundation
hosted an ice cream social at
James Beckum Park (formerly Carver
Park) for all the area children who
are part of the program. The children
not only got to enjoy refreshing
ice cream treats on a hot summer’s
day, they also got to play games and
contests with the Klement’s Racing
Sausages at the park.
