Brewers’ wives, Mayor Tom Barrett’s office, and other community leaders joined the Salvation Army leadership and advisory board members in kicking off the Feed the Kids Summer Meals program on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Red Arrow Park, 920 N. Water Street. The Summer Meals program began in 1990 and has prepared and delivered more than 2 million meals in the City of Milwaukee. In 2013, the program provided 127,671 meals to children between June and August.
