On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, The Milwaukee Urban League (MUL) hosted the 60th Annual Equal Opportunity Day Luncheon at the Pfister Hotel, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave. The Equal Opportunity Day Luncheon is a significant event, not only because it helps to reinforce the importance of diversity and equal opportunity, but it also generates funds which help support the League’s work in education, employment, economic development and civic engagement. This year’s event also helped the Milwaukee Urban League put a closing on their 100 year chapter and also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the MUL Young Professionals. As part of the event, MUL presented awards to individuals who have helped champion diversity here in the city.
