GMUL hosts ’62nd Annual Equal Opportunity Day Luncheon’

The Greater Milwaukee Urban League (GMUL) celebrated equity and inclusion at the “62nd Annual Whitney M. Young, Jr., Equal Opportunity Day Luncheon” on February 23, 2023 at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. Individuals received awards in areas including economic development, education, health, advocacy, and more. GMUL and Molson Coors also launched “The Entrepreneurship Connection,” a yearlong program sponsored by Molson Coors to provide black entrepreneurs with the support and assistance to grow their businesses and black wealth. As part of the event Dr. William Finlayson received the Whitney M. Young, Jr., Legacy Award.
