‘Life Happens’: A fundraiser for community leader ReDonna Rodgers

February 4, 2016

Redonna Rodgers Fundraiser

Sometimes life happens and those that strive to help others need a little help themselves. That was the purpose of the fundraiser held Thursday, January 28, 2016 for The Center For Teaching Entrepreneurship’s founder and CEO Redonna Rodgers (seated center). The “Life Happens Fundraiser” was held at Garfield’s 502, 502 W. Garfield Ave.

The event featured a live DJ, a silent auction and special performances by Joe Jordan, saxophonist Michele Miller, comedian MscutNup, R&B singer Delta Triplett, and Butterfly and the Urban Line Dancing Junkies. The event was held not only to honor Ms. Rodgers but also to help raise funds to cover the cost of a recent medical illness. If you would like to make a donation you can do so on-line at gofundme.com/ReDonnaRodgers.
