On Friday, October 26, 2018, former President Barack Obama came to Milwaukee, WI to help Democratic candidates drum up votes for the upcoming election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
Obama, along with the Democratic candidates, spoke to a crowd of 4,000 at North Division High School, located in the 53206 zip code in which Lt. Governor candidate Mandela Barnes was born.
Obama came hoping to inspire Blacks to go out and vote in this election. With many important benefits like healthcare, welfare, and Social Security at risk under the current administration, the Black vote is even more important in this election than in previous elections.
