Fellowship Open presents 21st Annual Fellowship Open Weekend

Thursday, August 19, 2021 through Sunday, August 22, 2021, was Fellowship Open Weekend. The highlight of the weekend was the annual charity golf tournament held at Silver Spring Country Club, N56W21318 Silver Spring Drive. After the tournament is a luncheon where guests, staff and golfers enjoyed lunch before listening to this year’s Youth Awardees: Simba Soccer, Butler vs Bullying, MKE Fellows/Sports Analytic Club Program (SACP) and T.Lab, and this year’s special honorees Dee Robinson and LeRoy Butler. During the event two portraits painted by local artist Ras ‘Ammar Nsoroma were presented as gifts to Ms. Robinson and Mr. Butler (bottom photo). However, festivities kicked off the night before with the Opening Reception and Ceremonies at the Mother Daniels Conference Center, 3466 W. Hampton Ave. during which this year’s the Fellowship honored (left photo, from left) National Civic Leadership Honoree Dee M.
