Brewers and McCutchen tell patrons of Garfield’s 502, ‘This One’s On Me’

On Friday, August 12, 2022, The Milwaukee Brewers continued their “This One’s On Me” promotion with outfielder Andrew McCutchen covering the tab for patrons at Garfield’s 502, located at 502 W. Garfield Ave. While McCutchen was in the middle of the Brewers’ game against the St. Louis Cardinals, Bernie Brewer, Barrelman and a virtual ‘who’s who’ of Black Milwaukee were there in his place to greet the employees and customers of Garfield’s 502.
The program was developed by the Brewers to thank fans and support small businesses. Players select popular restaurants and watering holes where Brewers fans typically gather and surprise customers by covering the tab for the night. One restaurant or bar will be selected for each Friday during the regular season and customers will see their bill covered by their favorite Brewers players.
