Kids in the Kitchen Hosts ‘4th Annual Cookies and Cocoa Caravan’

On Monday, December 15, 2025, Kids in the Kitchen presented the 4th Annual Cookies and Cocoa Caravan, an initiative in partnership with Milwaukee College Prep Lloyd Street campus scholars and teachers, youth from various families and churches, local business owners and the community at large. More than 40 students, teachers and volunteers worked in the school cafeteria to put together festive packaged cookie tins and gifts to deliver to 100 elderly community members which included seniors at the Clinton Rose Senior Center and other recipients. This initiative would not have been possible without the support of local businesses like A Better Living Family Services, Baked Dreams Cafe and Desserts Shop, D’Wondaful Designs, Walmart, Panera Bread, Sweetly Centered, Candy Coated, Meijer, Costco, Starbucks, C.A. Bakery, Enterprise, Marti Milton Creations and the Nori Foundation. A special thank you to these young entrepreneurs, Trin’s Table, Dal’s Foodz and Manna Morsels.
