On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, The Greater Milwaukee Foundation(GMF) announced the recipients of its 2025 Greater Together Civic Awards. They include: Roger and Cindy Schaus who received the 2025 William C. Frye Award; Melody McCurtis and Danell Cross who received the 2025 Frank Kirkpatrick Award; Dr. Victor Amaya who received the Doug Jansson Leadership Award; and Pardeep Kaleka who received the Ellen Gilligan Leadership in Racial Equity and Social Justice Award. This year’s award recipients were honored at a special event, “A Milwaukee for All: Leading with Impact,” held at Prairie Springs on Park. The program also featured a performance by Ko-Thi Dance Company and included remarks and community insight from: GMF president and CEO Greg Wesley, GMF board chair Mary Ellen Stanek, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, Mayor Cavalier Johnson, GMF chief legal officer and general counsel DeVona Wright Cottrell, and Von Communications founder Faithe Colas.
