American Legion Post 490 Hosts ‘7th Annual Southern Style Breakfast’

On Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 American Legion Post 490 hosted its “7th Annual Southern Style Breakfast,” at the Elks Lodge, 5555 W. Good Hope Rd. The breakfast was held to raise funds to help veterans and their families. The event featured two DJ’s who provided music for the event. American Legion Post 490 is one of only two all-Black American Legion posts currently active in the state.
