Board, superintendent recognized valedictorians, salutatorians
Valedictorians and salutatorians from MPS high schools were honored Thursday, May 28, 2015 by the Milwaukee Board of School Directors and Milwaukee Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Darienne Driver before they head off to colleges, universities, the military and volunteer service work. Destinations for this year’s top grads include: Alverno College, Carroll University, Clark Atlanta University, Howard University, Indiana State University, Kalamazoo College, Lane College, Loras College, Marquette University, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Mississippi Valley State, Mount Mary University, Notre Dame, Saint Louis University, Stanford University, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, University of Wisconsin-River Falls, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, the University of Wisconsin-Stout, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, volunteer service, Waldorf College, and Wesleyan University. “We are honored and proud to celebrate the accomplishments of the valedictorians and salutatorians of the MPS Class of 2015,” MPS Superintendent Dr. Darienne Driver said. “These students are strong examples of success for their peers and the community.”
