Milwaukee Public Schools is announcing several changes to school calendars for spring 2022. Families should read carefully and make note of these changes. Schools can answer any specific questions families may have.
March 15, 2022—ACT Testing Day:
All high school juniors will report to school for ACT testing on their regular school schedule. Freshmen, sophomores, and seniors do not report to school. This is a regular attendance day for all students in kindergarten through grade 8.
April 5, 2022—Makeup Day for Weather Closure:
This will be a regular school day for all K3–grade 12 students to make up for a weather closure day in February. This date was previously scheduled as a day off for students.
May 16, 2022—High School Makeup Day for ACT Testing:
This will be a regular school day for all high school students to make up for the ACT testing date. This date was previously scheduled as a day off for all students on the early start calendar.
May 16, 2022—Early Start Calendar Day Off (grades K–8):
All elementary and middle school students on the Early Start Calendar do not attend school, as originally scheduled.
May 16, 2022—Traditional Calendar Regular Attendance Day:
All schools on the traditional start calendar will attend school as originally scheduled.
