November 26, 2025

On Friday, November 14, 2025, in celebration of Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU) Week, Northwest Opportunities Vocational Academy (NOVA) High School invited prominent members of the Divine 9 organizations to speak to NOVA students in grades 9th – 12th, at the school located at 2320 W. Burleigh St.

As part of the program, members of the Divine 9 community shared with students what it has meant to them, to be a member of a Black Greek Letter organization with the hope of encouraging students to consider college after they graduate.

NOVA High School, is an MPS-contracted school, serving at-risk students who have decided to return to school in an effort to earn their high school diplomas.
