On Saturday September 14, 2019, the Chicago Classic and Historically Black Colleges and Universities College Fair was held at Solider Field. The teams that played were the Hampton University Pirates and Howard University Bison, with Hampton beating Howard 41- 20. The marching bands performed at half time and everyone enjoyed both bands. The College fair was that morning with all the HBCUs in attendance.
The Milwaukee and Madison Wisconsin Kappa League members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity were in attendance and had a great time. The young men and women of color had a chance to meet recruiters from the Historically Black Colleges and Universities and apply to different schools. Other sororities, fraternities, and high school students were in attendance and had an opportunity to showcase their talents.
