‘Disney’s The Lion King’ cast members to host wellness workshop for MPS students

On Tuesday, February 25, 2020, Sean Aaron Carmon (right photo, right), cast member from “Disney’s The Lion King” visited Milwaukee Public Schools’ Engleburg Public School, 5100 N. 91st Street. The visit was part of “The Lion King’s Get Up and Go Workshop,” which promotes fun ways that kids can lead healthier lifestyles though dance, inspired by the show’s Tony Award-winning choreography and music. Sean led a dance sequence with students and shared tips for helping the students embrace healthier lifestyles (lower photo). Disney’s The Lion King played at the Marcus Performing Arts Center from Febuary 5, though March 1 as part of the Johnson Financial Group Broadway at the Marcus Center series. Engleburg School principal is Lisa Marion-Howard (top photo, left).
