On Sunday, January 1, 2023, the Wisconsin African American Women’s Center hosted the final night of Kwanzaa known at Imani which stands for faith. Each night a different local organization hosted a different aspect of the seven nights. Each night featured traditional rituals, music, dancing, poetry and local vendors selling African themed clothing, art, food and jewelry.
