On Thursday March 28, 2019, the Milwaukee Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 5 – 4 at Miller Park on opening day.
The Brew Crew played with confidence and the MVP Christian Yelich hit a go-ahead three-run home run, to give the Brewers a 4-3 lead.
Pitcher Jhoulys Chacin hit a solo home run to give the Brewers the winning run in the home opener.
The catches by Lorenzo Cain were outstanding as he defended Miller Park with grace.
He caught the final out of the day to give the Brewers an opening day victory.
