On Sunday, December 19, 2021, Carmen A. Murguia (left photo, right) and Phantom Promotions’ Sir Wayne Griffin (left photo, left) hosted the first annual “Winter Wonderland” event at Freight 38, 838 S. 1st Street. The holiday party was the first of its kind as the event catered to members of the LGBTQ+ community who were 40 and older, for socializing, dancing and networking during the holidays. A diverse crowd was in attendance. The event featured food, gift giveaways and vendors, and music by DJ Kelc and DJ Tim Cole. The event was sponsored by Elizabeth M.
