From Saturday, August 7 to Sunday, August 8, 2021, Bronzeville Week presented the "7th Annual Sleepover for Education" on the corner of MLK Dr. and North Ave., in front of Pete's Fruit Market, 2323 N. Appreciation Dinner held in honor of Elder Jesse Reed

On Sunday, June 13, 2021, an appreciation dinner was held at the Masonic Lodge, 4315 N. 92nd Street, in honor of Elder Jesse Reed for all life accomplishments.
