The Williams sisters will not face off in the Wimbledon grand slam tennis championship in
Great Britain after all. Serena Williams easily advanced to the finals by defeating Russian Elena
Vesnina 6-2, 6-0. Unfortunately later on July 7 older sister Venus was defeated by Angelique
Kerber of Germany 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the finals for the first time in her career.
