Milwaukee Bucks win ECF, head to NBA Finals for first time in 47 years

July 8, 2021

The Milwaukee Bucks are playing in an NBA Final for the first time in 47 years! To get there they defeated the Atlanta Hawks 4-2 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals series. Despite not having star Giannis Antetokounmpo for the last two games due to a hyperextended left knee, the Milwaukee Bucks were able to get it done on the road Saturday, July 3, 2021. Khris Middleton led all scorers with 32 points. Jrue Holiday had a near-triple-double with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The Bucks played their first final game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 and lost 105 to 118. However there are still more games to play.
