Vigil for Charleston shooting victims held at St. Mark’s AME Church

June 25, 2015

A prayer vigil followed by a press conference was held at St. Mark AME Church, 1616 W. Atkinson Ave., on Monday, June 22 to honor the nine victims killed at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC on June, 17, 2015. Clergy of many faiths and a few elected officials, including Senator Lena Taylor and Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm were present.
