On Saturday, June 15, 2024, a packed crowd at American Family Field was treated to a surprise first pitch by award-winning rapper and cultural icon Snoop Dogg. Just prior to the Milwaukee Brewers taking on the Cincinnati Reds, he took the mound donning a cream Brewers jersey. Snoop Dogg also called an inning of the Brewers game in the Brewers’ broadcast booth with Brian Anderson and Bill Schroeder.

He also met with the team in the clubhouse prior to the game for photos and autographs, including inking pitcher Wade Miley’s Skechers.”That’s one of the coolest, if not the coolest experiences I’ve had as a professional baseball player,” Brewers pitcher Bryse Wilson said. “You look at him and he’s as A-list as A-list gets. It’s like, unless you play for the Dodgers, I feel like you never get to meet that guy.”

Snoop then headed over to Potowatomi Casino to present his “Cali to Canada Tour”as the first of Potowatomi’s Amplified Concert Series.
