Saint John’s On The Lake partners seniors and youth to help facilitate learning

Third-grade youth from Westside Academy and volunteer residents of Saint John’s On The Lake retirement residence do some stretching and exercise prior to reading a book about Abraham Lincoln on February 22. Our Next Generation is an after school enrichment and learning program. About 20 volunteers from Saint John’s participate in the twice-a-week program. On Mondays, youth visit St. John’s and on Tuesdays the adults travel to Westside to assist the children with homework during the school calendar year.
