Reid’s Golden Gate Funeral Home hold annual ‘Celebration of Love’

Mr. Arthur and Mrs. Mary Reid, founders and owners of Reid’s New Golden Gate Funeral Homes, held their Annual Christmas Dinner Celebration on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza located on South 13th street.  Family members, friends, pastors and church leaders from Chicago, Racine and Milwaukee were in attendance to salute and celebrate the prominent couple in grand style. The evening affair featured an eight course buffet dinner, a fur fashion show by A.J. Ugent, and a uplifting  gospel message by Pastor Richard Shaw of St. Matthew CME Church. The Reids acknowledged the business support they have received from the religious community. The Reids have two funeral home locations, one on Milwaukee’s northwest side and a location in Racine.
