Reid’s New Golden Gate Funeral Home hosts annual ‘Celebration of Love’

December 19, 2014

33

Arthur and Mary Reid, founders and owners of Reid’s New Golden Gate Funeral
Homes, held their Annual Christmas Dinner Celebration on Friday, December
12, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza located on South 13th Street. Family members,
friends, pastors and church leaders from Chicago, Racine and Milwaukee
were in attendance to salute and celebrate the prominent couple in grand style.
The evening affair featured an eight course buffet dinner, and a uplifting gospel
message by Rev. Dr. Demetrius K. Williams of Community Baptist Church,
in Milwaukee, WI. The Reids acknowledged the business support they have
received from the religious community. The Reids have three funeral home locations,
two on Milwaukee’s northwest side and a location in Racine. Pictured
at the event are the staff of Reid’s New Golden Gate Funeral Home (upper left
