Northwest Funeral Home hosts ‘Annual Back-to-School Book Bag Give-Away’

On Saturday, August 21, 2021, Northwest Funeral Chapel hosted its annual “Back-to-School Book Bag Give- A-Way,” at the Northwest Family Activity and Event Center, 4034 West Good Hope Rd. This year the children not only received free back packs to start the new school year; there were also free school supplies, reading books, flu shots, COVID-19 vaccination, hair cuts, bikes, as well as food and games.
The Milwaukee Times Black Excellence Committee (below photo) was also there to hand out school supplies to the attendees.
The event was organized by the staff of Northwest Funeral Chapel and Northwest Family Activity and Event Center.
