Despite the rain, Milwaukee turned out for the “48th Annual Juneteenth Day Celebration,” on Wednesday June 19, 2019.
The event was held on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between Center and Burleigh Streets. The festival featured a parade, musical performances, numerous vendors from food to toys, along with community organizations sharing helpful resources for residents of all ages.
