Local Milwaukee Bishop opens community health clinic

On Saturday, August 20, 2022, Bishop Sedgwick Daniels (right), who serves as pastor of the Holy Redeemer Church of God in Christ, along with representatives from Anthem Healthcare and the city of Milwaukee, celebrated the ribbon-cutting for the new CH Mason Community Health Clinic, 3500 West Mother Daniels Way. After originally opening in 2008, the clinic was first run under the supervision of St. Michael’s Hospital. After St. Michael’s closed, Aurora Healthcare stepped in and provided a parish nurse to oversee the clinic. However, after the retirement of that nurse the clinic was forced to close, leaving a huge void in the community for the individuals they served. Bishop Daniels along with his advisory board endeavored to reopen the health clinic in the fall of 2022. The new health clinic will provide routine services for people living in and around Holy Redeemer and the surrounding community.
